Frozen Bubble is a great little puzzle game when you have a few minutes to spare and want to “chill” out. It is one of the easier bubble shooters to play, which makes it a good choice for children and beginners.

The objective of Frozen Bubble is simply to advance as many levels as possible. You match 3 or more frozen bubbles to knock them down and once all bubbles are clear the level is complete. You use your keyboard arrows to aim and the shift button to fire.

Unlike a lot of bubble shooters, this game is more about strategy than speed. Unfortunately you cannot win prizes playing Frozen Bubble like you can with other games, but it is still fun to play especially when you feel like switching things up for a change.

What you see is what you get with Frozen Bubble. As you advance in levels they add in a few new colors and vary the starting formation. The farther you get the more challenging and neat the formations get.

• Use the notches on the icy walls to perfect your bank shots.
• Watch for opportunities to knock down a whole column of bubbles with one shot. Try to keep the lanes open when you see these opportunities.
